Saturday Night Racing Is Back!

This coming Saturday night, Jan. 4th, is a big night for BRL! Our 2013 Inaugural Legends Series finale takes place at 8:05pm ET. (Server up at 7:00pm) Matt Hoose just needs to take the green flag and he’ll be our first ever champion! Can he pull it off? Will he choke on the pace lap? Stranger things have happened!

And the night ain’t over yet! Following the 2013 finale, the 2014-A season fires up for both the Crooked Still Legends Series and the Whiskey Run Street Stock Series. Both series’ are chock full of racers looking to start the new season off with a win!

The Copperline Legends Series starts its season the following week, Jan. 11th, with a possible 30+ car field taking the green flag! That race is immediately followed up by Crooked Still and Whiskey Run, all at Thompson Speedway!

Hope to see all of you on Saturday night!

New Series Beginning April 2014

The “Outlaw Modified Series” will begin racing in the 2014-B season! The series will feature the SK Modified stock car. It will be added to the end of our Saturday night line-up and will be the feature event of the evening. Like the Crooked Still Legends and the Whiskey Run Street Stocks, this will be an invitation only series. All current members will be invited and we’ll fill the remaining spots on the roster as necessary. More info as we get closer to April!

Thanks to everybody for your patience last night. Thanks also to Matt and David for taking care of all three series’ while I was late getting back from a Christmas party. iRacing has been notified a few times and hopefully will have a fix for this soon.

While we can’t celebrate our first champion just yet, we can still say we’ve had a successful inaugural season! The racing has been awesome! Very few cautions and some good, clean, hard racing throughout! Thanks to ALL of you for showing up each week and making it happen.

We are off the next two weekends. I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas and are able to spend time with family and friends. See you in 2014!!
