Michael Carter has once again won both races in the BRL Road Series, this time at Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Road Course. That’s 4 wins in the series this season. The Championship standings find Brian Neff at the top followed by Tim Knott and Lowell Jewell. The series’ next event is Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 4th.
Michael Carter scored his first victory in the Outlaw Modified Series last night at Martinsville Speedway. He started 7th and led 10 of the 75 laps. 2nd through 5th was Lowell Jewell, Ryan Nuss, Tim Knott, and Matt Hoose. Brian Neff, Tim Knott, and Donny Moore are atop the championship standings board with two races remaining in the season.

Week 7 of the 2014-C Road Series season was held at Iowa Speedway’s Road Course last night. Brad Spidle took the win in Race #13 and Race #14 was won by Ronald Henrie. Brian Neff takes over the top spot in the championship standings followed by Tim Knott and Lowell Jewell. Event #8 will be at Atlanta Motor Speedway’s road course on September 27th.
Donny Moore wins his 3rd in a row in the Outlaw Modified Series and takes the points lead in the championship standings. Moore took the checkered flag at Irwindale Speedway last night followed by Lowell Jewell, Ronald Henrie, Michael Carter and Tim Knott. The standings show Moore in 1st followed by Jewell, Neff, and Knott separated by just 19 points.
The Mini Stock race was also won by Moore and he leads the points chase over Jewell and Ryan Nuss.
Brian Neff took the win in the Legends Series and he leads the points over Moore and Jewell.
Ronald Henrie scored a victory in the Super Late Model series, his 2nd of the season. Moore leads the standings followed by Neff and Knott.
BRL’s Road Series rolled into Indianapolis and Michael Carter took the checkered flag in both races at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. After winning race #11 of the 2014-C season, the field was inverted to set the grid for race #12. Carter started 9th and by lap 2, turn 1 had taken the lead. The championship standings finds Lowell Jewell at the top, just 19 points ahead of Brian Neff and 33 points ahead of Tim Knott. With 8 races left, it’s still a very close battle. The series visits Iowa Speedway’s Road Course next week.
BRL’s Road Series made a stop in Daytona this weekend for rounds 7 and 8. Michael Holloway takes the win in Race 7 followed by Lowell Jewell and Brad Spidle.

Jewell holds onto the lead in the championship standings over Nuss and Neff. The series has seen 7 different winners in 8 races and continues to produce great racing and close finishes. Pocono Raceway’s International Road Course is up next on 9/6.
The BRL made the trip to Stafford Springs, Connecticut this weekend for round 4 of the 2014-C season and Donny Moore takes the win in the Outlaw Modified Series, ending a 3 race winning streak by Brian Neff. Finishing 2nd through 5th was Brad Spidle, Neff, Lowell Jewell and Timothy Finnegan. Neff leads the point standings over Moore and Jewell.

Getting the event started was the Mini Stock Series won by Moore. Nuss and Spidle finished 2nd and 3rd. Moore holds onto the points lead just 5 ahead of Nuss and Jewell.

Moore also took the win in the Legends Series followed by Neff and Michael Holloway. Neff, Moore and Nuss are top 3 in the standings separated by just 6 points.

The league is off next weekend and will be traveling to Maine on 9/6 to visit Oxford Plains Speedway.
