The Bootleg Racing League and The Cruise Shop are bringing a new dirt track racing series to the Global SimRacing Channel on Friday nights beginning March 20th, 2020!
BRL’s Dirt Street Stock Series will be broadcast live by GSRC and simulcast on YouTube, Facebook, iRacingLive, and Twitch. The DSS series will begin it’s 3rd 11-week season on the 20th and we are excited to showcase the great racing that the first two seasons have produced. Kenny Kibbey won the first season championship and Tyler Jackson has pretty much locked up the championship in season two with just one more race remaining. So, be sure and tune in to GSRC on Friday, March 20th at 8:05pm ET for flag-to-flag coverage of the season 3 opener from The Dirt Track at Charlotte!
The Bootleg Racing League has been hosting short track races since the late 90’s and is approaching it’s 7th year using the iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations platform. For the past 5 years, BRL and GSRC have been THE Saturday night destination for short track racing with our SK Modified Series and now our Grand National Series.
GSRC is also fast approaching it’s 7th year of broadcasting top iRacing leagues and official series races. It has a top-notch staff and some of the best race commentators in the business.

Happy Birthday!
This week we celebrate our 5th birthday! Five years BRL has been utilizing iRacing and as we begin our 6th, we want to thank all of you for supporting us by following us at Facebook, through our website and for watching our Outlaw Modified Series broadcasts.
BRL has hosted over 750 short track races featuring everything from Mini Stocks to the Tour Modified. Over 150 of our Outlaw Modified Series races have been broadcast LIVE on YouTube by OCTV, LSRTV, and GSRC.
A huge thanks to iRacing.com Motorsports Simulations for providing the best virtual racing platform on the internet! We look forward to much more short track racing and we hope you will continue to watch and support us far into the future!

The Bootleg Racing League wrapped up an almost three year partnership yesterday with the Global SimRacing Channel that began on March 28th, 2015. GSRC produced a staggering 121 broadcasts for the Outlaw Modified Series and 2 broadcasts for it’s annual Champions Shootout.
Of the many commentators to take a turn at the series, GSRC’s Sean Ambrose was considered the voice of the Outlaws. “He was and is our biggest supporter,” said BRL founder Lowell Jewell. “He is a fan of the Modifieds, real and virtual. And he is a fan of what we are doing. Sean spent time with the guys before and after the races, he raced with us on occasion and he took the time to get to know every one of us. He kept his finger on our pulse! We will miss him.”
“We thank Sean and the entire GSRC crew for their time and effort bringing our races to the public,” said Jewell. “We certainly wish them the best as they continue to provide great coverage for their extensive roster of leagues and series.”
BRL recently contracted with LiveSimracingTV to begin coverage of the Outlaws on January 6th, 2018. “This will begin our 11-race 2018 Season 1 and we look forward to working with LSRTV,” said Jewell. “We feel like LSRTV has the experience and background to bring our Saturday night short track racing to the public.”
The Outlaw Modified Series races can be seen live on Saturday nights at 9 ET on LSRTV and iRacingLive.
